This unique hair barrette is hand crafted from leather and wood. Each one is hand cut from leather to the desired shape, then burned to accentuate the design and make it really stand out. These are great for any occasion and are very easy to use. Simply take the wood pin and insert it through the leather, and lock of hair. The leather is roughly 2"x4" and the pin is about 5" long. The wood pins are coated in polyurethane to help prevent splinters and make it smoother. The leather is coated in a light oil finish to help keep it supple and protect it from moisture.
