This trivet is an old design that helps to hold hot pans at a distance from a surface to prevent burning and scorching, and it can be folded up for easy storage and transport. Made of sturdy steel stock, this piece is sure to be a kitchen helper for many years to come. The legs on this trivet span roughly 12" and can hold a pot or pan 2-3" off from the table top it is set on. It is adjustable to hold a number of sizes of pots or pans and is both beautiful and functional. Like every other piece, these are each hand crafted in our blacksmith shop.
