These hand made low fire mugs were thrown on a kick style pottery wheel. For an added touch, elements of floral leaves were used to decorate each piece. A leaf stamp was impressed into the bottom of each mug. After a bisque firing, each mug is painted and coated with a simple glaze color scheme. To prevent sticking in the kiln, the mugs are dry footed, meaning there is no glaze applied on the bottoms. After glazing, the mugs are fired a second time to finish the look to become shiny, bright, and food safe.
